Willem programmer is the most popular low cost universal programmer.
There are quite a number of versions in the markets but only two types willem programmer: True USB willem and Parrellel Willem.
* True USB willem uses USB cable to connect computer USB port for Data transfer/Data transmission

The rule to determine a willem programmer is a USB interface or parrellel interface is that if the willem programmer requres a DB25 Data cable and if the set up requires your PC/Laptop must have a printer port for data transfer.
All existing Willem programmers are parrellel Willem programmers except MCUmall GQ-2X, GQ-3X and GQ-4X
