Hi,

Is it possible to read and write a 2532 chip with the "True USB" ?
Same question with a 2508 chip please

This device is under testing, no write on GQ-2X and write is not garranted on GQ-3X.

says in the software for 2532

GQ-2X only read the 2532. But GQ-3X is able to read, but write only works on some batch chips.

No way to read a 2508 (2532 pin compatible) at all
I just got "FF" all along the memory.

I've also tried an adaptator like this picture to read it as if it were a 2732, but it won't works :



And I'm sure the ship is fully functionnal because it cames from a calculator who works perfectly in my car.


I've tried with a NS27S181 and an AM27S181ADC (2508 compatibles) : not good.


Is it normal that for 2532, 2732 and almost any PROM of this kind, the software tell to put the same switches on (1, 6 and 8) ?

I think the 2508 to 2532 is not read compatible.

The programmer should be able to read it.
Do you have datasheet?
