I am having problems getting the willem gq 2x to run on vista. It does not show up in the device manager nor does the software recognise the device when plugged into a usb 2.0 input.

any advice would be greatly appriciated
other detail:
Vista Ultimate
mplab also installed.
current chip 16 series pic.

PS. I have tried the auto hardware scan. usb recognises the device but the auto load (get driver automatically by scanning the web does not work.)

The True USB Willem should work with Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit. But not the 64 bit system.

Please check your vista is 32 bit vista.
