everytime i try and read my intel flash eprom (ab28f400b5) i get different data coming up in the buffer. Can anyone tell me why im getting this??

Chip is firmly in socket and i can get Chips ID and device code

Does the software can decode the chip ID correctly? If so, then the chip may be incorrectly programmed.
