friends of the forum:
attached log.txt file where the data come out of the hardware and software, also uses USBPrg4.03Beta2Patch.exe ,in windows xp.

Download Attachment: log.txt
2.33 KB
as seen in the file, it can only be read and programmed by selecting the correct memory m95040, but the problem that is only half the program memory.
second reading in the datasheets of the various reports, the main problem is that after sending the ST95P080 byte instruction (to read or write), the byte address should be only 1 byte and not 2 bytes in the Other SPI 1024kb.
the item in question is that I can not enter the software to modify and so I ask those who know more and can modify the software to see this problem with their information.
I think it would be desirable to modify the software along the M95040 that works similar to ST95P080 but extend the reading and writing to 1024Kb.
a greeting and I look forward to any help.
thanks.

ZLM thanks for reply.
I have read two previous posts on the topic and saw that both proposed patch to solve the problem.
probe recording st95080 other similar chips (st95080)and I had no problems.
I just got a chip ST95p08 (5p08), although I have tried:
st95p08 selecting the record-95p08 or 5p08c3 or just type the address until H40.
the record-selecting st95040 wrote ok, only half of the chip (512KB).

these two tests indicate that the chip I would be in good condition because the first test only manages to write the address H40.
Furthermore, as mentioned in the first post, according to the datasheet of st95p08 to read or write, then send instructions to the chip (8bit) must send the address, but this is only 8 bit and not 16 as in the st95080.
another issue that we must also bear in mind is that this chip manages the clock pulses somewhat different than other conventional memories.

another question:
you may have a difference in the firmware of willem?
because in the post that tells me, even before making this post, try the patch 4.02 and 4.03.

The firmware are the same.

Can you try patch 4.02?
http://www.mcumall.com/download/TrueUSBWillem/GQUSBPrgRe4.02Beta1.exe
copy this file into "c:\program files\GQ USB Programmer" folder.

I just wondering why the device reported working.

We will review the code again.

probe with the patch already mentioned and with the 4.03 patch and got no diferenci.he tried to read with another developer who can read but can not program, and found that he recorded willem well.
then the problem is that I have read, is only able to read the address to 3F.
1024K selecting other chips, the read data repeatedly shows the data of direction of H0-h3f.
