Hi people i want to buy the True-USB PRO GQ-4X Willem Programmer to repair mileage in cars here in Mozambique (Africa) and i want to knew if it supports In-Circuit Serial Programming (ICSP) to program the EEPROM in the board?

The chip that i want to READ/WRITE is a SOIC (8 PIN)

Sorry for my english i speak portuguese

The GQ-4X will work with in circuit programming testclip on some board.

The succefully rate of in circuit programming is mainly depending on the target board design.

So, you may need to do some testing/trying for in circuit programming.

ZLM a question, I know that In-Circuit Serial Programming (ICSP) depends basically of the circuit, but what about reading only, not programming SOIC chips? are the testclip method reliable to read chips no matter the circuit? I ask because I know ICSP is a different story.

The reading is much easier than write. It has much high success rate.
