It seems there are bad contacting somewhere in between the adapter, chip and programmer.

Please check the pin contacting again. Also, the chip pin 1 orientation.

Hello ZL,
Thanks for the reply,
i have rechecked with the pin contacts and pin orientation everything seems to be fine, Device ID it shows as 'FFFF, i tried with MX25L8005 (SOIC8) it read beautifully, erased the chip and wrote the bin file in it, verified, but the problem is when i use FWH/LPC, tried with 49lf008, 49lf002,49v002fa all working chip it gives device ID wrong, except 49lf002 it shows as '2525' 'tristar'. it shows reading completed, erase completed, blank check it stops @ 22%, writing fails @ address0x000000 buffer=0x41 device=0x25.

I am novice, ithink iam missing out something, help me out
Thanks

You may need another FWH adapter for testing. Contact the support@mcumall.com for the adapter exchange.
