Hello.

I've got a GQ-4X and have been reading and writing eproms for a while. Now I've got a new flash device and I can't read the data from it. Every time the data is different. If i press read and then save to file, and right after that press read again and save to file, I got two different files.
The flash device is a AN28F010 PLCC32 and the adapter is ADP-062.
I've tried with an extra power source with no result...
Any ideas?

I think there are pin contact problems between programmer and the adapter. OR chip and adapter.

Lock the adapter on the programmer ZIF and then push the adapter left-right little bit when it is locked. This will help pn adapter contact with the programmer ZIF.

Ok, I've tried to push the adapter left-right a lot of times. I've even tried with a different adapter with no result.
Any other ideas?

Do you have second AN28F010 chip? Then try to erase, blankcheck and write the data.

Well, my problem is I can't even read the data. I've got two chips, same type, different data. None of them works, I get different readings every time.
And cause I cannot read data correct, of course I'm getting verifying errors after write.

If you can confirm the adapter and chip has no contact problem then there are two posibilities:

1.chip problem.
2.programmer software algorithm need to be adjusted. In this case a testing chip needed.

1. Tried 7 chips with no result.
2. Can you do that? You want me to send you a chip? If so, just give me your address.
