Hello.

I have the GQ-3X programmer corresponding adapter TSOP32.
The software GQUSBprg 6.00 detects me SST39SF020A flash perfectly.
Reading : OK
Erasing : OK
Write : ALWAYS FAILD

What is the problem, probe with several new SST39SF020A flash and still write error.

Use Windows XP operating system and Windows 7 laptop and desktop PC.

Awaiting your response, Thanks.

Do blank check after erase and to confirm the chip is been erased and blank.
What is exact error message?
Does it always fail at same address?
Try to slowdown the speed.

The error does not always happen at the same bank.
I tested on W7 and XP operating system.

Tested with my GQ-4X and SST39SF020 has no problem. The SST39SF020A and SST39SF020 should have same programming algorithm.

Please check your chip pin contacting again, include the adapter contact with the programmer. If the problem still persist, then you can send a testing chip to support@mcumall.com to find out whay.

Also, try to find another chip do write to confirm the programmer is working.
