I have recently purchased the True USB Willem Programmer GQ-4X on eBay. I have installed the latest software 6.13.
When trying to program the SST39VF040, it doesn't detect the chip. I use PLCC32-DIP32 adapter. From the Device list I choose SST39VF040 PLCC32. Device ID information : Device ID (Hex): FFFF;
Manufacture: not in library; Type: Unknown device: When I try to read it it says ID check failed. Programmer works fine with other PLCC32 chips. I bought another SST39VF040 chip but still no luck. Any help will be appreciated. |

Did you find a solution to your problem??
I need to flash EXACTLY the same chip and I'm nervous now. Does this mean that the new willem gq-4x programmer is not compatible with SST39VF040 ????
That would be horrible news for me! :(

hola amigo busca en el forum 39VF040 que yo encintre una solucion y el programador funciona bien para grabar ese ic usa esato que va a funcionar amigo esa memoria esta en un dvd
