As you can see, I have used ezo to willem convertor pod pcb for programming S29AL008D..02. Adresse A19 must be connected to pin 4 on ZIF. You must add next line in devices.txt
Name="S29AL008D..-02*TSOP48_B2",ID="015B",Class="29F800T",Category="FLASH",MFG="SPANSION",Adapter="TSOP48_B2 by EZO + pod",VCC="3.6V",Message="Set the adapter to 5V jumper position.";//by BAndjel
and everything is ok. But, if you select ordinary "S29AL008D..-02" from menu, you can't read, write, ....

Can you get corredt ID?

Check your chip contacting, also make sure the chip is a good chip.

Yes, ID is correct. With added line, everything is OK. Chip is OK, and contacts off course. Chip is placed in Samsung SCX 4300 and works well.

What you get when you reading? How do you know the reading is not correct?

I have file for programming for Samsung SCX 4300 (I got it from my friend). I checked ID, it is correct. I write, then verify, then read to new file, then erase, check if is blank, then write again, verify and PLACE to Samsung SCX 4300. Samsung works well. I think it is good testing :)
