I know there is a couple topics on my issue on the forum here, but none answer my question. I am also having the issue where the burner will ID, erase, blank check, and write. It will not verify however. After writing when I read back the chip, much of the hex is missing compared to the original file. I think this may stem from the burning speed speeding up after it hits 50%. The speed flies when it gets there. What is causing this?

I am using software 6.14c
I am programming tsop AM29F032b-90ec
Adapter is ADP-082, ADP-077
Jumper 1 and 2 are pinned
Jumper 3 set to 5V
Jumper 5 tried both V1 and V2
Write speed is set to -2

It could be following problem:

1. the chip itself has compatibility issue. Some chips are not brand new and they may be remarked chips.
2. the voltage issue. try external power.
3. the software has bugs

Okay thanks for the reply. I'll try messing with it more, but for now I wouldn't recommend anyone buying the ADP 082, 077 from here because there are lots of problems with it.

ADP 082, 077 are both been used many years and on many other ships. They are working good.

The problem may only related to this particular chip.

Hello, this seems to be a bit of a known issue, the older versions of the software did not have this problem. If you erase and write normally (i'm guessing your file is smaller than 4MB), once the verify fails change the J3 jumper to 3V and then verify again. Chances are it will work this time (did for me).
