Hello Guys, I'm facing this problem: I'm trying to program a MX29LV800CT bios.I'm usin GQ-4X, amd TSOP48 8/16 bit addaptor.It erases corectly, blank checking ok, chip is blank and start writting, at 50% it stops, the red light on the programmer stays lit and nothimg more happens . The software is jammed also the programmer is blocked , i have to unplug the programmer from USB and restart the sofware. Any help? Any ideas? |

Check all pin contactings. If it always stop at 50%, then the chip may bea bad chip. |

I checked contacts to every single pin 48 pins => good contacts,i tried to program 3 same chips ans the same event occurs. erases ok, blank check ok, write stops at 50%.Is there another setting on software? The J1 jumper is set on 5 volt. I have no other ideas how to succede to program this chip. |

I was especting an answer from the moderators, i'm using GQ-4x and and TSOP 48 adapter made by MCUMALL, the device(MX29LV800CT) i cannot program is listed as programmable in the devices list. I'm sure is a bug in the software or in the firmware of the GQ-4x.I will reconsider my oppinion about mcu mall products as useless as cheap they are.... |

This chip been in the list from the begining of the software. And no other use reported this problem. The jumper should on the 5V position.
Check with any other TSOP48 chips and see if it works. If not, then the problem may be related to the adapter or programmer.
Also, try it with a power adapater OR use a different USB cable, just in case the problem comes from the power. |
