HEllo I just got my PSOP44 adapter from the site for my GQ-4X
I am trying to program 2 chips but they won't ID
First we have
MX29LV320MTMI-90G
This one was easy to find a compatible device on the list;
the MX29L3211; I inquired to the support staff and they sent me this to add on my device list.
Name="MX29LV320MTMI*PSOP44",ID="C2A7",Class="MX29L3211",CodeSize="4194304",Category="FLASH",MFG="Macronix",Adapter="ADP-019 V3",VCC="3.6V",RVpp="5V",TempUnprotect="Yes,False",Platform="GQ-4X",Message="Set the adapter to 5V jumper position. Jumper on 29L3211 positions";
Added it, chose it, but the Chip won't ID. I already tried 3 different ones.
Second,
We have this chip:
LE28DW3218AM - 80
This one I haven't been able to find a datasheet online! It is driving me crazy! it is PSOP 44 as well.
Any help is greatly appreciated, the Second one is very urgent for me to re-program! |

Weird.
I was able to do everything, I even wrote a couple of chips successfully.
Then all of the sudden, Writing bar won't move.
I can erase, verify, blank check, etc etc, but I cant write.

check your chip pin contacting. Most of them are caused by poor pin contact. |

bump,
I noticed a pattern on the programmer. I think it went bad.
If I am burning a flash chip, (am29f016b) and then switch to MX29LV32's it won't write. I have to disconnect, restart, etc SEVERAL times before it can work.
If I get a writing error, all the chips I try after the one that gave me the error, will give me errors as well. If I get an error with example.bin file while trying to write it, and even if I turn off the pc etc, if I open the same file on the same directory it will give me the same error on every chip I try.
It seems that my programmer is faulty, or the quality of GQ-4x programmer is not very good.
Im not sure if it is software related or hardware related,
Any thoughts? |
