I´m using GQ-3X (firmware 1.51), programmer software 6.23 and the ADP-15 MCS-51 adapter to program a AT89C4051 (20 pin DIP). Operating System is Windows XP SP3. Erasing, reading and blanc check are working fine. But on writing data to a chip I get the following message:
Such messages appeare on different addresses. When I read the written data all bytes are correct until the address in the message. The rest is on FF FF .....
I tried to use additional powersupply and I cleaned the adapter (socket and pins) but nothing has changed.
Thanks for answer. But I tried speed -2 with the same behavior. I think there is something with timing. Is "blind" writing possible (without check while writing)?
It may be the chip compatibility problem. I have tested my AT89C4051 and it works good without any problem. If you want working AT89C4051, then write to sales@mcumall.com for the availability.
