Had another GQ-4X bite the dust after only 8 months this time. Second in the last year. Get the Initialization failed. Please reconnect. message. Tried different cables. Hooked up an older, halfway working GQ4X and did not get the message. What type of quality controls do you use? I had an old GQ-2x that last years. Now this is my 2nd 4X in a little over a year.
The initialization fail may be related to the firmware fail. It may be related to electrostatic problem. If your initialization fail, then the voltage test does not work.
But all firmware related problem can be fixed. You can contact the support@mcumall.com for assistant.
