Hallo,
I bought several days ago a GQ-4x from China.
Looks like its a genuine one.
But after burning 2 eproms, usbprg hangs.
The unit is recognized by windows and i installed latest software.
They delivered an extra Atmega48v with firmware r1.41 with it.
I installed this one but after 2 eproms the same problem.
I think they send me a fake one.
Is there a way to recognize fake units?
I took some pictures of the inside of my GQ-4x.
I would like to get a refund and resend the unit (so I can buy a Genuine one) but i need to send some evidence to the seller.

I am 100% sure your programmer is a fake version.
All China sellers are not authorized and they are all selling fake GQ-4X.
The genuine GQ-4X allows you to connect the internet to get latest software. Also, it comes with a GQ green color mini CD.
The fake GQ-4X comes with fake firmware and it does not work correctly.
