Using GQ-4X
I'm using the PLCC32 to DIP32 adapter. Inserting and reading the AM29F040B I get a good AM29F040B ID. But I noticed every I do a read of the same programmed device each read gives me a different Check Sum. Is this correct?
In an attempt to resolve the above issue I tried rolling back the GQUSBrgRe6.00 to GQUSBrgRe5.03B then back to GQUSBrgRe6.00 on my HP Laptop PC running XP Pro SP3. They both loaded OK, icons appear etc but neither will let me launch the GQUSB program anymore. Anything could left somewhere (need an REDIT?)after removal of Programs and reload? I did not reload the driver though. Every thing prior to this was stable and the Programmer was working fine.

Always use latest software.

If you read data with different checksum, then you need to check pin contact. R chip itself. It is nothing to do with different version software.

If you can not start the application. Then try to set the DEP exception.
