Posted - 03/27/2013 : 08:35:04 Greetings to all forum users, My name is Silvio and I have a problem with the NEC EPROM, the EPROM is D27256D. I can not in any way to program them with GQ-4X and I can not find in the datasheet of this network Eprom. Eproms I have deleted and tested, they are ok, I can read but not to program them. Can you tell me where to find the datasheet and how to set the GQ-4X to be able to program these Eprom?
Thanks Silvio |

Posted - 05/08/2013 : 02:52:54 you can create a new file called customdevices.txt - so you dont need to keep editing on upgrades.

Posted - 05/07/2013 : 07:33:21 there is a devices.txt file in the install directory. just add it in there. |

Posted - 05/04/2013 : 06:27:31 Hello, thanks a lot for the command line to add a new device to the list of GQ-4X. But how do you insert new device. there is a list to know which type commands in lines for the new device?
thanks Silvio |

Posted - 05/03/2013 : 10:22:29 That is easy.
Add following line into devices.txt:
Name="D27C256D*21V",ID="898C",Class="27C256",Category="EPROM",MFG="INTEL",WVPP="21V"; |

Posted - 05/02/2013 : 22:25:08 Hello, I finally managed to program the EPROM NEC D27256D with an old programmer who use an Atari St This controller has the ability to set the programming voltage VPP of 12.5 volts to 25 volts of your choice. Selecting a voltage of 21 volt VPP the Eprom NEC D27256D have planned without any problems. I saw that on GQ-4X there 'is the ability to select a different voltage VPP on EPROM and that there' is a list with 27256 VPP programming from 21 volts. Does anyone know how to add in the list of devices a new entry for the 27256 to 21 volt VPP? You can notify the distributor of the GQ-4X to add the new device 27256 volt VPP in the supported list?
thanks Silvio |

Posted - 04/12/2013 : 12:24:29 Thank you, you will not be the socket of the programmer? The error message is the same with all 40 eprom... No one has the datasheet of D27C256D? I can tell me where to find them... Thanks Silvio |

Posted - 03/28/2013 : 06:16:01 Hello, I state that it is a bit of years I plan eprom and I've never had any problems, but with these eprom I ... I also tried to decrease the speed but nothing. The problem is that I have about 40 eprom NEC D27C256D of this type have been deleted in the right way and the programmer are deleted. The problem is that when I go to program the eprom, I get the following message:
Write failed, Address = 0x090000, Buffer = 0x60 Device = 0xFF
I have deleted the eprom well, for safety I tried various speeds and voltages, but nothing to do. On the net I can not find the datascheet and do not know what to do. Does anyone know me in on where mistake.
Thanks Silvio
PS: Sorry for my English but I use google translator |
