I'm trying to duplicate a Philips (NXP) MCU. It's a pretty cheap little thing but they are corrupting and causing problems in some equipment I'm tasked with maintaining.

I've got the GQ-3X USB with the latest software but this device isn't listed anywhere.

It's an I2C serial device. 4kB OTP memory.

When I google the device number I find a website that says its software will program these but the program is for the older serial Willem programmers not the USB. (h**p://www.ic-prog.com)

Is there a generic device name I could use to read/write to these MCUs?

Is there another software program that I could get that would work with the GQ-3X that has this device in it?

I really don't want to have to buy an old serial Willem just for this one device so I'm looking for answers

Thanks!
Jeff

The I2C has no generic command. It has different command for different device. So, find your compatible device and try to use it.
