Posted - 06/25/2013 : 18:59:27 I recently purchased the GQ-4x and the DIP8/SOIC8 adaptors. My first time playing with this machine will be with a 93LC86 EEPROM. What problems will I run into as a novice? It cant be as simple as read/save dump, modify dump, then upload/save it to the chip? Is it? Will I need to remove EEPROM from board before I do anything? anything helpful is much appreciated. |

Posted - 06/28/2013 : 13:40:16 The In Circuit Programming is not that simple as you thought. The chip power is connected to all other component. So, the power is the first issue. You may need to study the circuit and find out a way to do the In Circuit Programming.
If you are in hurry to programming the chip, then remove the chip from the PCB and program it on ZIF OR testclips. |
