Just a quick suggestion for future versions of the GQ-4X software.

When I'm programming EEPROMs that hold calibration constants for test equipment. I usually put some ASCII in the unused space that says when the device was calibrated.

When using another programmer the software allows me to type directly into the ASCII field in the buffer and it automatically converts it to hex.

I noticed in the GQ software I can't type in the ASCII field which means I need to convert my text to hex first and type in the hex manually.

It would be a nice feature to be able to type into the ASCII field directly .

Thanks For Your Time.

Thank you for your suggestion.

This will be considered in newer software release.
