I'm trying to write this IC using a GQ-4X with APD 082, but without success...

AMD29F032B
-90EC
0833DBM H

ID is checked OK (0141), but, the error appears at start of process,0% always, in some cases, I try to erase first, and the erase ends less of one second, something wrong occurs i guess.

I'm trying some ideas, previously discused here, how use a 100nf Z5U cap, or a 2k resistor, but, in both cases, the problem remain. I try too, write lowest (-2), and writes, but at verifies, nothing was write.

If someone can help...

I have the solution:
To program 29F033C use an external 9V DC power supply as well while programming! It worked fine for me.
Program OK, Verify OK.
Ice Man Posted - 03/10/2017 : 10:04:58
Well, I tried programming with -1 speed, but verify always fails since it doesn't program properly.
I don't know how exactly I'd trace the pins as I don't have any pinouts nor would I know what to check.
Is the 74HC244 really needed at all?

Perhaps, can someone else confirm that the MBM29F033C, AM29F032 and AM29F016 all don't work to program? Or did someone find a way to program them?

You can switch individual pins to trace where it goes wrong.
Ice Man Posted - 03/09/2017 : 10:43:53
How would I test it with hardware test function?
anniel Posted - 03/08/2017 : 10:13:44
Maybe you can use the hardware test function of the software to find the fault.
Ice Man Posted - 03/08/2017 : 10:06:37
Just checked. Everything looks clean. :'(
My Programmer is GQ-4X4 with Software 7.11 and USB 3.0 Driver.

Resistors are 2x2.2k and 1x24 Ohm. All work.
Diode show 597 Ohm, so they work, too.
Maybe 74HC244 is faulty? Is it even needed?

Here is pictures of ADP-082:

Maybe bad solder joints?
Ice Man Posted - 03/08/2017 : 09:24:16
Looks like it. But I don't know where/why.
Tried Jumper V1/V2. Same results.
anniel Posted - 03/08/2017 : 08:58:15
Trouble with the ADP-082?
Ice Man Posted - 03/07/2017 : 09:01:15
Tried MBM29F033C at -2 Speed.
Program 100%, Verify Fail.

AM29F040B TSOP32 works fine. Everything ok.
TSOP40 does not work fine. :(
anniel Posted - 03/07/2017 : 08:48:50
Did you try a slower speed?
Ice Man Posted - 03/07/2017 : 08:26:19
I have the same problem. I can't write AM29F016B or MBM29F033C.
ID Check is correct with jumper set to V2 and 5V.
I'm using ADP-082 with ADP-077 set to TSOP40B.

I try program but every time I get an error about buffer.
I erased the ICs but nothing helps.
Other programmer (TL866) program them fine so it's not a problem of the IC.

What to do?

Yes, I have tried both, if I try to write at any higher speed -2, an error occurs in the first byte, if I try to write at -2, the write arrives at 100%, but, when checking, (3 / 5V) The chip is completely empty, as if there was no recording.

Hi ZLM

I have tried more than 4 chips, the problem is the same, I perform the blank check, works fine, but, in some cases, the erase process ends at start.
