Running Windows 7 32-bit, have the 6.38 version software installed with the 2.0.1 driver for my GQ-4X.

When I launch the USB Programmer app, it opens, looks for new software, says it's updated already, loads the last device and them immediately exits or quits the program.

I try again, somewhere usually between the 3rd to 12th attempt it sticks and it works fine. Sometimes clicking on a command button or menu bar helps to get it not to quit.

Tried removing and reinstalling, same behavior.

Any suggestions?

Is it the only software that behaves strange?

Would really like some help with this if anyone has a suggestion. It makes the programmer barely useable.
