Hi all, I have some AM29F016 in PSOP44 format but I can't seem to program them as they're not in the list. I have PSOP44 Adapter 4.1
I also have AM29F016 TSOP48 with reversed pinout. Any chance to program those?
Help appreciated. |

Try this:
Name="AM29F016*PSOP44",ID="01AD",Class="M29F080B",CodeSize="2097152",Category="FLASH",MFG="AMD",Speed="5",VPP="5V",RVPP="5V",WVPP="12V",Adapter="ADP-090 V2 or later",Message="For ADP-090 V1.1, short pin 1 and 2 on ZIF socket, and connecct chip pin 32 to pin 37 of programmer ZIF. Set the adapter to 5V jumper position.";

Hello, ever since new update to programm software 7.11 my AM29F016B PSOP44 is not recognized anymore. My device I added in device.txt is also not listed anymore and therefor I cannot programm this IC.
I used this for 29F016 PSOP44: Name="AM29F016B*PSOP44",ID="01AD",Class="M29F080B",Category="FLASH",MFG="AMD",CodeSize="2097152",DIP="100011110101",RVPP="5V",Adapter="ADP-090",Message="Set the adapter to 5V jumper position.";
Please fix it or let me know how I can still choose it. Thanks.
EDIT: I found new devices.txt in appdata/mcumall/ folder. |

The chip AM29F016B should not be affected and it should work as before.
For your added device, please add it into customdevices.txt file. That file will not be overwritten when newer version software been updated.
