Success at last! I downloaded version 3.27 of Topwinen and programmed two 27c256 eproms and it worked.

hi all
i second that
i blew 6 eproms nmc27C256-200's earlier
no errors {except one wasnt cooked out and had to be erased again}

did like the new timings menus seems they got there stuff together
as i notice quite a few changes also it blew a few other roms i needed done
via the nice adapter set that came with it

so... what exactly is the sketch with other package types than the zif and two plcc sockets adapters

i got mine from china and dont see an easy list of avalible ones
ive had a look on the pages here and see them but not any sort of list of whats programmer works with what adapters

....???
machine toshiba equium laptop usb only type
p5b asus main machine
thinking of adding dual lpt pci card
both used for top and lpt via usb where i can

old p2 programming grumbling tank with xp sp3 for true serial and lpt

all machines bios set to enable bios plug and play aware o/s and lpt spollers services and drivers removed
legacy detection enabled
