helllo i have GQ-3x rev1.0 how i can update it and need programmer mx29lv008cbtc

This chip should be supported on gQ-3X.
Try to add following two lines into devices.txt

Name="MX29LV008B",ID="C237",Class="29LV800B",Category="FLASH",MFG="Macronix",Adapter="TSOP40A
adapter",VCC="3.6V",Message="Set the adapter to 5V jumper position. And connect A19 from adapter to programmer";
Name="MX29LV008T,ID="C23E,Class="29LV800T,Category="FLASH",MFG="Macronix",Adapter="TSOP40A
adapter",VCC="3.6V",Message="Set the adapter to 5V jumper position. And connect A19 from adapter to programmer";

Hi,

I also need to program this chip with GQ-4X (older model). Is this adapter the right one?

Yes. You also need an ADP-077 top ZIF socket.
