For TOP852, TOP2003 and TOP48, what does it mean "working on most XP"? How about on notebook?

 For TOP853, TOP2004, TOP2005, TOP2048 are fully compatible with Windows XP. Those should not have problem working with Windows XP.

TOP852, TOP2003 and TOP48 use Cypress USB chip as communication controller. Because Cypress did not fully confirmed the
compatibility with Windows Xp.
So, for some Windows Xp user may need re-install the software couple of times.
But most of Windows Xp users have no problem with installation.
So far I have not heard any installation fail on Windows XP yet.
As I known there are many costomers successfully installed the progreammer on their Windows XP Pro with service pack 1. And whith no problem.
There are no problem for all Win98SE/ME/Windows 2000 platforms.
So far I have not received any problem report on notebook.

It is right installation is doing as well as the manual for win98, XP and win2K. However, this programmer is doing little perfectly (only check TTL/CMOS) for others very little hope.
We bought 2 (two) TOP2003s and both (absolutely) made problems. Some chinese char. still often appears (though we used english version). Failed to programme GAL, MCU51, SRAM family rarely when I got luck can program or check sram. It is not stable.
Help me if U have solved the same problems. Thank you.

Do not buy it if you have XP.
after you close the app once, it wont work unles you restart.
Many time crash and freez.

Some problems only happended on old model such as TOP852/TOP2003/TOP48.
The newer models should not have problem under Windows XP such as : TOP853/TOP2004/TOP2005/TOP2048. |
