How do I get the checksum after reading a chip? I don't see any option for this.

For example I am told the checksum for the chip is supposed to be E4F6 ... How do I see the checksum after reading to make sure it is E4F6?

OOps I am using a very small netbook screen I did not see the checksum on the bottom of the GQUSB terminal!

Now another question---checksum for this chip in GQUSB shows 000FF856, it is supposed to be E4F6... Checksums for all other chips also do not match. But chips work ok. I think it is reading wrong--can you advise? How can I verify checksums correctly?

GQUSB uses standard checksum calculation.

The displayed checksum is the acture checksum from chip.

If the duplicated chip is working fine, then the checksum should be fine.
