Could you add support for reading these, they are just 28-pin 128Kx8 OTP ROMs with CE either low or high, nothing fancy?

You need to make a adapter for it. Select 27C1001 from software. Then your adapter need to map the 27C1001 pins to your chip pins.

Very old topic, but new question :)

Is it also possible to write on a TC531000 in the same way ?

Thanks.

The TC531000 is only possible to read. The chip is designed for read only.

I don't suppose this part has been added since 2011? I also need to read this mask ROM. Actually mine is a Mitsubishi M5M23C100, but it's the same 28-pin pinout which is a bit odd for a 128k x 8 part:

Also worth noting perhaps, the Toshiba part has a programmable level on CE* so it can be either CE or CE*. I'm not sure about the Mitsubishi part as I can't find a data sheet for it. The closest I could find is Toshiba but it makes reference to being compatible with the Mitsubishi part.

I guess not many mask ROMs are supported by EPROM programmer companies, since they can only be read anyway.

In fact all mask ROM chips are supported if you know the pinout and size. Simply use the equivalent 27 series device definition and ADP-023 adapter if required.

Information on this page was usefull to me as i was able to quickly make an adapter for reading/checking some TC531000 maskroms (28 pins).

Just need to select the 27C301 eprom type (32 pins) as a device. Software tells you to add a jumper wire between slot 2 of the ZIF support and pin 24 of the chip (should be slot 28 of the ZIF support).

Vcc pins are 32 and 28 on the 27C301 and TC531000 respectively, so you just need use a jumper between the pin 28 of the maskrom to where would be the 32 pin of the 27C301 on the ZIF support which sould be slot 46.

Simply did my adapter form a 42-DIP support and to jumper wire.
