I bought last week a brand nex GQ4X programmer complete with ADP-003 adapter to program an MX29LV320CT flash. I have followed the instructions and have the jumpers set to '29F', '064' to off, and voltage to '5V' yet I can't erase or program it. I can read the data ok. I have tried selecting 'temp unprotected' and have slowed the speed down but nothing works. Does anyone have any ideas?

try another chip or other brand. This will help to identify the problem.

I will have to buy one as I do not have another. This was removed from an LG plasma tv. I tried locking the device, then unlocking it. All sectors are now locked and won't unlock.

I have just reprogrammed a W25X40 successfully so I know the programmer and pc are basically working etc

The "temp unprotected" should erase and write the chip regardless of locked chip.

But since you are unable to unlock the chip, then I suggest you to get another one or two good chips to try.
