Hi, iam using the GQ-4X (new Revision) with the 3.0 USB Driver and Usbprg 7.05.

Iam programming successfull 29F032, 29F016, PIC 12F629 and M27C801 without any problems.

But with 12F508 it does not work at all. When i read it out i get only 3FFF , even at the end where the calibartion value should be.

When i program one of them with a hex file (onechip.hex for Playstation) then it seems to write fine, but when reading it out it still shows only 3FFF. So it does not seem to programm at all.

The chip is in correct position of the ZIF. If i remove it the Software freezes when i klick readout.

I tried 3 differen 12F508 (brandnew ones) from different sources.

I have no more idea why only this type does not work at all.

Does anybody have any suggestions what else i could try?

Thx a lot
Regards, Dio

I exchanged the GQ-4X 4 and got another one.

But it is still not able to programm PIC 12F508. No matter what hex i program, a readout gives only 3FFFs.

Did anybody already use the GQ-4x (new revision) with a PIC 12F508 ?
