When the programmer checks ID says: "ID check failed.("FFFF") Please check device type, chip orientation and pin contact. Some OEM chips may have compatible chip ID. Continue?"
After pressing "yes" button it says: "Write failed, Address=0x000000, Buffer=0x16 Device=0FF"

I have lots of AMIC A29040B and never failed, but the AMIC A29040C always fails.

A29040B and A29040C have the same ID. Probably a bad chip if the pins are clean.

I have over 20 chips and all have the same problem. I have achieved to program two of them, but I needed at least five tries.
