Hello,
I am not an expert so I would like to ask the forum a question about Eprom chip duplication.
Using the GX-4X and included software, will it be possible for me to retreive the information stored in an existing Eprom chip and duplicate or copy the information to another blank Eprom chip?
The chip is from a Roland xy Plotter M5M27C100K-15
Thank you for any reply,

Yes. The GQ-4X supports this chip.
This chip has a special pin and need a short wire to let programmer read it.
See instruction from software when you select the chip from software.

Thank You ZLM for your reply.
One more question can programmed chips be written over or erased by the software? Or must I use new blank chips for programming new data. I have several of these chips that I would like to use if I can.

The programmer is unable to erase the EPROM. If your chip is a UV erasable chip, then you need a UV eraser. If your chip has no glass window on top, then your chip is a One Time Programmable chip. Every time you need a new chip.
Before you write new data, the chip has to be blank.
