I am trying to program a PIC12F629 with a GQ-4X programmer. I my erase checks come back fine. It will fail at the verifying the configuration "configuration verify failed"

I have tried slowing down the write speed and still get the same results.

Is there something I am missing to do to get this programmed via a GQ-4X programmer?

Code Protect is ON by default.
This will cause the chip to not be verified properly and should be disabled.
