Tested AT27C1024,AT27C2048 with no problem.

The programmer may be broken.

OR

Wrong PLCC adapter is used.

hi,

thanks for replying.

i was slightly mistaken in my first question. programmer working fine with amd am27c1024 plcc package but is not working with atmel at27c1024 and at27c4096 plcc package.

i hope there is no difference in amd and atmel chips. how to verify if the adapter is bad??

thanks in advance for supporting me.

regards

vishal
