Good evening
I have purchased a Gq-4x programmer,installed software on windows 7 64 bit laptop,as soon as i plug in device to laptop the program freezes. I have tried to uninstall the program a driver a couple of times but still the same.
When i right click on desktop icon into `troubleshoot compatibility` it keeps coming up with `incompatible application detected` i have the driver 2.0.1.0 installed.
Any advice would be much appreciated. |

The version i am using is Re 6.38
Driver version 2.0.1.0
date 5/3/2009
Are these the correct version i need? As soon as i plug in programmer the program freezes

The version of driver and software are correct.
If your device manager shows "GQ Programmer" in the list with out problem, then you may need to switch to another USB cable and make sure the USB cable has no problem.
Also, try on another computer if possible.

I am still struggling with this program/hardware.
I have the older type GQ-4X programmer
I have installed the program on various different computer with the same results,and also tried different leads with the same problem.
I software number Re.6.38
Driver version 2.0.10 (i have also tried the latest version of driver with no joy)
Gq programmer is not highlighted under device manager and says `this device is working properly` under device status.
when i open the program with out the device connected to the computer the program responds to the boxes i click onto. But as soon as i connect the device up via usb lead the program freezes and says `Program not responding` on top and no boxes are able to be opened.
I am suspecting device faulty?
Any help would be much appreciated so i can carry on and starting the tool.

Change to another USB cable.
If it still does no work, then send an warranty request to support@mcumall.com for an service. |

This programmer you have returned to us is GQ-4x4, so uses the new version software 7.xx and Driver 3.xx
this is why you had those problems. |
