Hello,

Is the PRG-017 usb pic programmer supported in mplab?
Also where I can find firmware updates?

No. The PRG-017 USB PIC does not work with MPLAB.

Are there any firmware upgrades available?
Also where I can find the latest version of its flashing program?

Currently we do not have any firmware upgrade.

If you buy yhe programmer, then it comes with the latest version software.

I have bought it 1 - 2 years ago, but I can't find the software cd. I believe there was also a link in this site where I could download the software but I cannot find it either...
