Hello
I am trying to program ATMEGA32A chip on my new GQ-4X programmer. However it will not write to it and shows ID check failed ("FFFFF")
The chip is fully inserted to the programmer. I used it to program Eproms so it works.
Please help

You need connect the chip as AVRISP. Not on the ZIF socket.
