I just purchased a gq4x and am looking to see if you have any tips on the best way to read eproms incircuit including dealing with ossicalators that hender this process.

If your chip is not designd for in circuit prormming, then In circuit programming is tricky.

Most likely you need some work before doing in circuit programming. You need o power the chip itself, not from the programmer.
