Hello,
i have a Chip AM29F400AB an a Psop44 V4.1 Adapter
i can read the chip, erase, blank check, when i will write the file (the same file i have read out)come the error

Write failed, Address=0x00001B, Buffer=0,80 Device=0xFF

click Write

Write failed, Address=0x000027, Buffer=0,80 Device=0xFF

click Write

Write failed, Address=0x00002D, Buffer=0,80 Device=0xFF

........
??

i have checked
another PC
another USB cable
9V PSU
Jumper

This may be related to chip itself.
Try:
1. Check the Temp Unprotect check box in software.
2. Slower speed.

The chip is a protected chip.
Temp Unproect is to remove the protection when programming. But chip still be protected after programming.
