SST 49LF002A how do you program the chip. I've got a dual power PCB3 willem programmer. the switches set as 1-12 off,on,on,off,on,on,off,on,off,on,off,on. the jumper (jp2) next to the switches is on the lower two pins(2-3?)it seems to read and erase ok but it won't program it comes up as error at 0X000000 chip = 0XF buffer = OX25 noticed the chip ID came up blank after erasing forgot to check before erasing. Is the chip bad? or Iam I not programming it right? tried it with the skip write 0XFF unchecked ad got ERROR at 0X000000 chip = 0XAF buffer 0X25. |

What is the exact model of your programmer? Please provide a link or picture. What software version you are using?
This chip needs a FWH/HUB or FWH/LPC+ adapter.
The ID must be correctly reported. Otherwise check all pins contact. |

chip ID is incorrct. So, something wrong. If you are sure your chip is 49LF002A, then you must get the ID of 49LF002A. Otherwise check the chip pin contact. Try do not put the chip too deep in the socket. |

the chip is a SST 49LF002A I also have a SST 49LF020 chip neither reads at all on the ID. well the SST 49LF020 read incorrectly. I've installed both chips several times making sure its got good pin contact each time and not very deep barely flush to flush and I always get the same result it seems to read. it will erase the chip but won't program the chip and I get no no correct chip ID ever . I can only assume the chips are bad.

in the above Image the SST 49LF020 if I unplug the SST49LF020 (thats whats stamped on the chip anyways I get this ID Manufacture 0XAD Hynix(Hyundai) Device Code 0XD5 HY29F080 cann't find a listing for that. if I treat it like a SST 49LF020 and erase it everything in the ID goes blank. yet it acts like it reads it.it errors on blank check.it will erase it? fails blank check. and errors on programming. so is it bad? a Hynix(Hyundai)HY29F080 or a SST 49LF020 Iam using a MCUMall Dual Power PCB 3. it looks like this one http://www.mcumall.com/comersus/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=3081 until above picture posts also same as post Posted - 12/27/2007 : 12:55:18 picture it seems to ID when it wants to or after taking it out and putting it back in and Iam going nuts

Hi
I have exactly the same problem. I have the PCB 4.5c from sivava. I am trying to program a Amic A49LF004 which according to the data sheet is the same as the SST part with the same number. The programmer programs the first byte then indicate byte in chip differs from buffer. If I run the verify command it shows that the byte is correct. This seems to indicate that there is a bug with the program / verify cycle. Is there a way to turn of verify while programming? I have tried emailing the manufacture Sivava but as of yet they have not bothered to reply to a single mail. They were quick to reply when I purchased this device |
