Hi, I recently bought a k149 USB programmer from MCUMALL and I got a couple PIC16f917 but when i tried to program them I found out that the software I downloaded from MCU for my k149 doesn't have the pic16f917 in the chip selector list and in the k149 specs from MCU it said that pic16f917 could be programmed with the k149. Could I choose another 40 pin pic in the ship selector to program mine 16f917? a 16f877A for example?
