hi there, i just have a top, and when i reprogram a eeprom 29f010 at the end of reprogrmation give me a error of verify, anyone apened the same?whow o can resolve the problem ?:( iám so disapoited with the top2049, if anyone can helpme i wiil be apreciate,

find the chip type in the device2049.lst file
you use eeprom but what maker???
also this string needs to be like this
EEP AMD AM29F010 ,AMD29f040 3 ,upr=0,vcc=5000,dly=2
ie add ,dly=2 to your devices string
and disconnect ALL other usb devices you can
make sure in your bios that the usb ports are set to use
480Mb speed

old p2 programming grumbling tank with xp sp3 for true serial and lpt

hi there, thanks for the responding, the eprom that i use is 29f010b,
today i will experiment the top with the definations that you say to muse,then i will tell you if it works or not :)

Today I will get a chip that you have and I do the same tests to see if I can help you to merge those problems so

It has to work with ssl29LE010 v and the soft top view you use is 1.39 and worked ok

rrzrzrz the softwere dont works in my computer, this soft you pass dont have loadusb, and i open de program an says to me that is no device...

i goes to the site top2048.com and i have downloaded the latest version of top software (6.08)
but with the eproms am29f010b-90 the software says error of verify, what can we do to that??
maybee is the programmer whos need to be update??
can anyone tell us if tha is possible??

hi motocarlos, maybe dont work with ssst 29ee010, try sst 29sf010 i am xure that will reprogram and verify well, i only dont know if that results in a car...

I just experiment, dont work my friend :(, i just put the eeproms in te ca and dnt start :) hehe...i dont tuch anymore on the top, i just gonna buy another reprogramer...
But if you know something, tell me ...

1 first need to know where memory is inserted
2 what you need is an editor and a file comparator Bin
3 what you want to make a memory emulator simulates this is for eeprom

| I know this is an old thread. I do not know about the 29F020, but I do know that the 28F020 will not work properly with version 6 Top software. I had to go back to version 5. I do not know why as they both use the same data files. |
