Hi I am having problems trying to write to my pic18F2525 chip.
I have connected my chip via ICSP to the appropriate pins on the chip.

I select the pic with in the programmer and load the Hex file I'm trying to write.

When I try to write to the chip I get the error
Error Program Memory at 0x000000

Any help would be Appreciated
Cheers

chip need to be erased before write. Do blank check before write.

Still no luck.
First I clear the chip
Status: "CHK Blank Code OK (no Checksum CFG)"

Next I select program the chip the software says
"Programming Code (0x6000) Word"
This reaches 100%
It then says "Programming EEPROM (0x400) byte"
This reaches about 60% and fails with a status of "Error Program memory at 0x000000"

Ok, I am running the latest software that came with the programmer and I can find no newer versions online.
Is there any other software compatible with the Willem pcb50 programmer? or do I need to go buy a new programmer..
