Hi!
Could anybody please help with some advices?
I'm trying to make a copy of a 93C56.
The original is marked B05AG 93C56 EM8.
The eeprom I try to copy to is marked ST 93C56WP B423G.
When I read the original I have to use 16 bit in order to get the binary correct.
Image Insert:
63.93 KB
The problem is: It is not possible to write to the eeprom using 16 bit, only 8 bit, even the eeprom should support 16 bit as well.
Image Insert:
64.91 KB
Here is a photo of my hardware with the 93C56 placed in a SOIC8 adapter.
Image Insert:
172.02 KB
Do anybody have an idea what I am doing wrong or what might be the problem?

It looks all right.
Make sure your chip pin contacting good.
Also, use 0.97ja version software. That is a good version as knew.
