Hi,

I bought GQ-4X for write some M27C160 EEPROM. I bought ADP-054 too for the old eeprom. Unfortunatly when I try to write our 2Mb file to the EEPROM the programmer goes to error immediatly. Is there any setting I need to success write the eeprom?
Thanks in advance

Did you erase the EPROM? Blank check? Set the jumpers on the ADP-054?

Eprom was erased by U/V and checked with Blank check. on ADP-054 J1 is 1-2 jumped and J5 is V4 jumped. Do I need any other jumper?

J1 is ok. J5 is chip compatibility jumper change it if the chip has inconsistent reading, writing.

Thanks anniel but:

I tried to change USB cable, change pc, change Eprom, add PSU, change USB port without success!
Also if I try to change the J5 jumper (from V4 to V3) the programmer is not detected! Any other suggest?

Thank you Anniel.

The problem may come from chip itself or the adapter.

Please check followings:
1.chip pin contacting on all pins.
2. change to another chip and try. This will make sure your chip has no problem.
3. test the programmer with Voltage Diagnostic of software menu.

This chip does not need external power supply. The USB power is good enough.

If all above can not find the problem, then you can send your programmer set to MCUmall for test/exchange.
