 S 29x94 eeprom. how to read/write ?		  Forum Locked

S 29394 is an eeprom produced by Seiko.
I have a GQ4x which does not support this chip.
Is there any way to use my programmer to read it and write it
Any advice

Add following lines into devices.txt

Name="S-29194",ID="XXXX",Class="93C46B_16Bit",BufferMode="16BIT",Category="SERIAL_EPROM",MFG="Seiko";
Name="S-29294",ID="XXXX",Class="93C56B_16Bit",BufferMode="16BIT",Category="SERIAL_EPROM",MFG="Seiko";
Name="S-29394",ID="XXXX",Class="93C66B_16Bit",BufferMode="16BIT",Category="SERIAL_EPROM",MFG="Seiko";

Thanks a lot. I'll try it soon.
But this seems to be very simple.
Did you take in consideration the different : pins arrangement;frequency and read/write volt.
