This adapter is designed for all Altera CPLD PLCC84 chips with a JTAG interface working with GQ-4X4 programmer. 

With this adapter, the user is able to program the Alter PLCC84 CPLD chip on GQ-4X4 ZIF socket directly.

No ISP cable is needed. 

The chip should have JTAG feature in order to work with GQ-4X JTAG interface.
