Hi,

I just boug a GQ4x4 along with the ADP-054 adapter. The programmer seems to work fine without the adapter, but I cannot get it to read or write any 27c160 or 27c322.
I have set the jumper correctly, I have the chip positioned correctly in the ZIF. If I try to read a known good 27c160 from a working sega naomi board, i just get garbage, and every time I read it I get different garbage.
I tried it on 2x different computers, different usb ports, with and without a 9v adapter, firmware, drivers, etc are all the latest.

Is this just a pile of junk or is there some secret to make it work ?

Thanks,

thanks to the excellent support emails I have exchanged with the manufacturer this is now solved. It turned out the programmer was faulty, got a replacement and all works perfectly !
